
Just because you are trying to eat healthier doesn’t mean there aren’t healthy snacks and treats for you this holiday season. Below are THREE simple recipes that you can enjoy yourself or bring to your next holiday get together!
Chocolate Caramel Popcorn
Ingredients:
- 1 bag cooked plain/unsalted popcorn
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1.5 tbsp coconut oil
- 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp coconut sugar
- drizzle with chocolate
- sea salt to taste
Directions:
- Cook popcorn
- melt coconut oil until liquid
- melt chocolate until liquid
- Add coconut oil, coconut sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, maple syrup and mix well
- drizzle chocolate
- Add a little sea salt with plain popcorn

Cinnamon Spiced Nuts
Ingredients:
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup brazil nuts
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup maple
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp chilli (you may want to add more spice if you want them to actually be spicy)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Mix all ingredients together
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper
- Bake for 30 minutes or until nuts begin to brown

Quinoa Coconut Granola
Ingredients:
- 1 cup uncooked quinoa
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup walnuts, crushed
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup pecans, crushed
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1 tp vanilla
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil or ghee
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup coconut flakes
- 1 cup dried cranberries
Process:
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Mix all ingredients together
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Bake for roughly 30 minutes or until mixture begins to brown
