With the colder months ahead, it’s time to give our skin a little TLC. But instead of using crazy scented lotions and questionable masks, focus on natural products, nutrition and non-invasive beauty tools! Bring the spa home to you with this full body treatment which will leave you feeling refreshed and hydrated, even dead in the middle of January!

Below are three skincare hacks to ditch dry winter skin, and keep you dewy and glowing into the colder months:

Get rid of Dry Winter Skin:

Start off using a Dry Body Brush or Dry Face Brush, such as these cute ones from Midnight Paloma, which helps with increase blood flow, reduce wrinkles, promote lymphatic drainage- all while sloughing off dead skin cells. Not only is exfoliating a great way to brighten dull skin and unclog/reduce the look of pores, it also allows hydrating skincare & treatments to absorb much better into the skin. Keep up with this a daily practice before your morning shower to support your immune health AND to help exfoliate and detox your skin.

Follow up with a super hydrating cream like The New New Age’s Skin Food to seal moisture back into your skin. Skin Food contains coconut oil, cacao butter, beeswax and vanilla bean, plus the scent mentally transports you to the coziest spa your head can dream up!

Supplements/Foods to Hydrate Skin From The Inside Out:

Incorporate a hydrating green juice or green smoothie into your day to make sure you are getting in lots of nutrients. Then consider eating drinking 2-3 L of water a day to help keep dry skin at bay. Also, herbal teas such as dandelion and chamomile can be a great caffeine-free option. Lastly, make sure your shower isn’t too hot or too cold which will also dry out your skin.
